Shehnaaz looked at him and realised , her words sting him and his eyes showed the hurt she has caused him but she cared less at the time . 

She is just 23 , wanted to live and enjoy her life but her shoulders were burdened with responsibilities .

Shehnaaz felt like a burden was lifted from her chest as she finally shared what she felt inside her heart . No mask of fake smile or formality or fear of his judgement .

Marriage meant to grow not cage .

She wanted grow under his protection and wings . She never felt any less to lean on him for any help but suddenly all this was making her feel suffocated .

Don't he whispered brokenly but her words haunted him . He fought back his tears as his eyes burned , he never knew someone holds the power to shatter his heart to this extent with their words which were like sword cutting right throw his heart . He felt powerless infront of her as she was crying breaking infront of him and he stood their watching her .

Sidharth never meant to hurt her but he did it unintentionally in the fit of anger . He could see the efforts and the bond they once shared has been crushing down infront of his eyes and he couldn't do anything other then seeing it getting scattered .

Her bitter cries and his broken promises were going to haunt him and he had no courage to console her or to even face her after she said she is regretting marrying , he silently left the home with a broken heart .

It's been an hour , he sat alone on the terrace with a bottle of alcohol in his hand , he has finished it half and his eyes were red . His mind was running to the space were they both shared the smiles , teasing , care for eachother and the time when she got angry over him for his carelessness Or the time when she wakes up for him to prepare fresh food when he works late night and get worried when he fell ill .

Then suddenly his body shook in anger , her words haunting him . She said it , she regrets marrying . The words were never leaving him , she has cruely crushed his heart with her words . Even after he had admitted his mistake and apologized for it . It's seems like she doesn't care about it .

He felt like she had taken the decision to never forgive him while he was leaning on the hope to get her forgiveness and mend his mistake .

He sipped the alcohol while staring at the empty place . His fear turned true , their age gap of a decade and her immaturity of age was the reason for stretching the fight even after his apology , his mind thought trying to justify his stand .

Because Shehnaaz knew him , he has no control over his mouth when he is angry . She has seen his best and worst behaviour , he is a man with flaws . He has never flaunted to be a perfect man , he is a man with attitude ego and anger issues but after she came into his life he started to change willingly , because he never wanted her to regret for choosing him .

He says things which he didn't mean in anger but people uses it for their own benifit . He is learning to control and so far he has been trying hard to be the best man she deserves yet he failed her . He proved her decision was wrong for choosing him and his fear turning to reality .

Sidharth came down , before his family come home he wanted few answers from her . She was scrolling through her phone he snatched it saying " Mujhe kuch baat karne hein tumse " .

( I wanted to talk to you )

Shehnaaz just starred at him , she can smell the alcohol from him which made her nose twist in disgust . " Do you mean it what you have said earlier ? " He asked . Now his every thought was screaming her word Regret .

" Mere sar me dard ho raha hein hum badme baat kare " she said in low tone as exhaustion was clearly seen on her face and tone . She was ordering the medicine online .

( Can we talk afterwards I'm having headache )

" Nahi , mujhe abhi jawab chahiye Haa ya na ? " he said stubbornly holding her .

( No , I want answer now . Yes or no ? )

" Sidharth please " she requested knowing he has consumed the alcohol and was not in his complete senses .

" Phirse bhag rahe ho " he said with a sarcastic smile .

( Again running away )

" Ohh ya phir sab ke samne tamasha karna hein , vaise bhi sabko pata chal he gaya hoga hamare behaviour se " he said dramatically at first then suddenly turning his tone stren .

( Or you want the drama to unfold infront of everyone anyways everyone must have known because of our behaviour )

" Mujhe koi shook nahi hein tamashe karne ke ya bhag ne ki , yeh sab apko he suit karta hein " she said and stromed inside their room .

( I don't have any habit to do the drama or run away , it suits you only )

Fuck he cursed staring at her back .

It's been two days , their was silence between them . Sidharth didn't even look at her , he could not believe after everything he has done in their relationship from supporting her to prioritising her while trying to give the best and secure life to her while fulfilling her every wish . He felt like his each effort has gone waste at the end just because of his one mistake .

As the days passed , he was slowly realising on to what extent he had pushed her and hurt her .

He disrespected her and their bond , made her feel alone and worthless .

He hurt her to the point were she felt their marriage was a mistake .

And he blame her at the end .
